Accumulator

The accumulator is designed to allow only a fixed amount of oil and liquid refrigerant to enter the compressor for lubrication and cooling. The accumulator is created with an outlet tube that incorporates a unique u-shaped tube with an oil bleed hole located at its base.

Description

  • Type: 25×0.75 mm and 40×1.00 mm
  • High-quality AA1060 grade Aluminum Tube
  • H14 temper
  • The tubes that are used have more than 85 MPa of tensile strength
  • Pitting resistance up to 72 hours of SWAAT

Application:

The accumulator can act as a receiver during the heating and defrost cycles when system imbalance or an overcharge from field service could result in excessive liquid refrigerant in the system. The accumulator can store the refrigerant until needed and feed it back to the compressor at an acceptable rate.
