Raw materials: Cells, ABS, nickel strip, 3M tape, label

Machines used: BTS machine, welding machine, molding machine, ATA machine, ageing chamber

Manufacturing process: Firstly, battery BMS (battery management system) PCBA is checked by BTS machine. Cells are check by cell checking machine and cell jig. If any abnormality whether it is aesthetic or functional is found, cells will be segregated. Nickel strip is welded with BMS after verification BMS. After applying barley paper in cell, BMS is welded with cell via manual welding machine. Battery top housing is assembled after welding. Using molding machine required ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) is applied in battery cell. Excessive portion of ABS is removed from battery cell leakage is checked after vibration test and dimension is observed at regular basis. After attaching 3M tape in bottom portion of battery cell, bottom housing is assembled. Functional check is conducted by ATA machine after labeling. Ageing test is occurred for 72 hours at 45 degree Celsius temperature and 45% relative humidity after functional check and electrical parameters are taken after ageing.
